		<description>Hi, Darryl!

The remarkable thing about truly spectacular coffee... once you get over the initial pain in the wallet you feel for spending over $100 for 3 pounds, and take a moment to do the math, you realize that you're spending, what... $1.25 per cup?

Still a bargain!!</description>

		<description>Doug-

Your post about St. Helena led me here. To reply to your question on alt.coffee -- I believe I had the 2003 crop. At that time I had seen a reference or two on line saying St. Helena was the best in the world. I searched, found the St. Helena coffee company and ordered a pound - about $25-27 then. It was great. I then ordered the 5-pounder when Sweetmarias offered it.

I agree (as you may have seen from today's post) that the current Gesha is extraordinary. My wife and I just had an afternoon cup of it. I think it has extra caffeine, judging from my reaction to it.

Vermont, eh? I learned to ski at Killington, when I was a Boston resident. Fond of Harrington's ham (Stowe, I think) as well -- until they got just too pricey for the product. What am I saying? I just spent $100 for three pounds of coffee!!

Cheers,
