I'm a little confused by the last part of this article about the water temperature. I've recently purchased a Zoji and I want to have a good experience when it arrives. What is the difference between warm water from the fridge and unchilled water from the water cooler? What is the best temperature for the water to be when you pour it into the machine?

Okay, I just re-read the article and I think I get it now. Don't use cold water, use room temperature or warm. Is that right?

My wife and I recieved this coffee maker from my in-laws for Christmas and have really enjoyed it. That is, up until the last few weeks. At present, it will begin brewing and then shut off every cup or two. I have run cleaner through it, and there appear to be no obstructions to water flow. I would guess it's the electronics. We live in Minnesota and there are no retailers or service centers anywhere nearby, and I really don't feel like shipping it somewhere if there is some simple solution. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Great review - most helpful. I have a question for you. Since you seem to have a great deal of interest and knowledge on the subject of coffee, have you ever used the Presto Scandinavian Designâ„¢ Coffee Maker? It seems to be the only one that has similar positive reviews to this Zoji. Just curious.

BTW, we are similarly new transplants to New England - across the river in NH. Where did you move from?
