Memorial Day Lawn & Garden Report

Welcome to the Memorial Day Lawn and Garden Report. This is an azalea. Or maybe it’s a rhododendron. Herself says there’s hundreds of varieties of each… I just say, purty.

The lilacs are blooming. There’s apparently lots of varieties of these, too. We have at least three. And some are French. Who knew?

More lilacs. In the background a sand cherry. Behind that, the house. (Herself says she reckons people can prolly figure that part out.)

Yes… still more lilacs.

And finally, a progress report on the silly bird with the audacity to build a nest in a hanging geranium on the front porch. Five eggs.
