It would seem the time and patience I’m willing to spend blending is directly proportional to the cost of the green coffee beans.

Mind you, most every spendy bean I buy has more than enough merits to be enjoyed as a single-origin coffe. But from time to time I get the itch to blend something I paid dearly for… and let me tell ya, I’m nothing but patient when I do.

I’ve been roasting for almost a year and I can’t imagine trying to blend. In any form. Props to you for doing it — I wouldn’t have the patience.
