Another Holiday, Another Blizzard

Just when our beloved but neurotic golden retriever was acclimating once again to peeing on grass — “The green stuff… that’s right, pee on the green stuff! — here comes yet another winter storm. Not quite the 30 plus inch dump we had on Valentine’s Day, this one’s left us with a blanket of 16 to 18 inches… ‘course it’s still falling.

As snow goes this is beautiful stuff — downy, opalescent crystals — it shimmers in the light and beckons one and all to come play outside.

And so we will.
