Hello.

Bloggle is the online playground of Doug Cadmus, a usability guy, writer, photographer and sometime dramatist who moved to Vermont for the coffee. When not writing, reading or walking his old, blind golden retriever, he roasts coffee in his garage and is the Web Guy for Green Mountain Coffee in Waterbury, VT.
Currently...
- Roasting Kenya Nyeri Kiambara. Most colorful in the roaster of any #coffee I've seen. Aromas are out of this world. 1 hr ago
- Tasting just-roasted Brazil Vista Alegre "Traditional Dry" #coffee No nose to speak of (it's early, yet) but *huge* toasted pecan flavors. 1 day ago
- Turns out the chirping creature was a chipmunk. http://bit.ly/dCfYQc P.S. The hawk missed... the 'monk continues in the front yard. #vt 1 day ago
- Tasting Bolivian FT/O #coffee from Caranavi. Apple and melon with a malty note in the cup and a crisp, Meyer lemon tang. Long finish. 1 day ago
- That irritating warble just came to a sudden stop, and there's a hawk mantling over its catch in the back yard. Go hawk, go. #vt 1 day ago
- All morning there's been an unceasing, full-throated "chrup, chrup" warble outside the window, like a drip in the world's largest bathtub. 1 day ago

- Roasting a Bolivian Fair Trade Organic #coffee from Caranavi. Big, dense beans. Smells sweet in the roaster... We'll see about the cup. 3 days ago
- How unfortunate. My 'aged' Kenyan #coffee is formidable, but its flavors are lemongrass and straw; there is apricot and blackberry no more. 3 days ago
