Just thought I would give an update. My old B70 that starts with "75" conked out on me and I had it replaced and I was surprised to find this new B70 starts with "76" and not only is it literally silent, I mean you can't hear it at all (no longer vibrates, just a very low hum), but it now has 5 sizes, a 3.25 cool beverage setting. I thought I would pass it along since this site informed me of the original update. Quite the update if you ask me.

I did indeed work my way through that entire plate. However, in my defense, we had just spent a long day wandering around the Ren Faire and I had not eaten a single turkey leg. Can't remember if I ate any dessert or not.

Stephenson's also introduced me to properly made dry non-grape wine. Even though my palate was not mature enough to appreciate their apple wine I could tell it was well made. I would love to have a bottle now.

You have my deepest sympathies on the loss of your local orchard.

I seem to recall that you had tucked in to the largest plate of food I've seen served at Stephenson's or elsewhere. And, if I recall, you won. ;)

I saw the news about Stephenson's closing a month or two back and still find it a little depressing. Even worse is that I used to have a similar farm/apple orchard about the same distance from me as Adam's is to you. They had acres of gnarly old apple trees and sold fresh, raw apple cider that I yearned for all summer. This is the third cider season since they sold out to a developer who ripped out the trees and replaced them with a bunch of ugly houses. October is much less fun now.

Currently: 37 days, 10 hours, 40 minutes and 23 seconds without a cigarette.

That's about 850 cigs I haven't smoked, and 6 days, 7 hours added back on my lifeline. Hey... almost a week!

And about $250 that I haven't spent on smokes. I'm saving for a Wii. ;)

Huge congrats, Doug.

I can taste the difference in a roast between roasters who are smokers vs. non-smokers and what they "value" in the cup.

I notice more roast flavors in the cups of roasters who are also smokers. (on average, naturally, just like with anything else in life, there are exceptions).

Big ups on +4 days. (hopefully twice that by now)
