Love my Keurig. Can’t live without it. Customer service is awsome and located in the US. Makes troubleshooting fun and interesting. Had a party during the holidays and put my brewer on the counter: everyone made there own hot drink. What fun!

You suggest I have a hidden agenda, Michael, when I’ve made every effort to be transparent about my point of view, hence the very clear ‘About me’ blurbs. From where I sit, that you were clearly able to discern that point of view reads like a win.

Wow, what a positively glowing review for the Keurig, which would seem to indicate that the the Keurig is superman compared to the Tassimmo….

Green mountain coffee, hmmm…where have I heard that name before…hmmmm.
Oh yes, I remember, they are one of the big producers of k-cups. Now I get it….

I just bought a keurig, slow, cold, leaky……think I am moving to Tassimo country!!!!!

Great info! I prefer the Keurig because you can buy refillable pods, so that wills ave you hundreds!

Also, I have found the availability of re-fillable K-cups so that you may use your own coffee. Not so (yet) for the Tassimo.

I am a coffee drinker, although my husband say i’m not because I like all thosw foo-foo drinks.

I just bought the Tassimo and love it. The machine is easy to use , you don’t waste alot of coffeeby making a whole pot and having one cup. I enjoy the cappacino’s and Latte’s, although I do use 2 espresso t cups to 1 milk t cup. If you like sthose milk flavored drinks get the Tassimo. If you are looking for a straight cup of coffee then th Keurig will be your choice.

Instead of a whirly grinder, why not pack a Hario Skerton ceramic burr hand grinder? To spice things up, instead of a pour-over, how bout an Aeropress, GSI “Personal Java Press” (lexan, break-down camping french press with a very interesting design) or Handpresso Dome with the “intense Filter” upgrade?

I’m impressed with my GSI press for travel coffee. The filter is a laser perforated stainless steel disk embedded in a plastic carrier with plastic rings reminiscent of automotive piston rings to make a good seal. Well worth the $20.
